Training Day Information MARC conducts a number of training days during the year, they involve group lessons, usually with EA Level 1 instructors. The programs vary and sessions include general flat-work, dressage, hacking, groundwork, poles, jumping, cross country and occasional alternatives like mounted games or an unmounted information session. Riders please come down to the Shed on arrival and register and pay for the day. Latecomers may have to miss the 1st session if it will disturb the group to join in. Riders can choose to participate in all or some of the sessions. The activities offered in each session will depend on the riders present on the day. Please notify the Training Coordinator of your intention to attend by the Wednesday prior so we know how many instructors will be required, and if you then cannot attend please notify us.
All riders must be members of MARC or EA.
The fee of $45 for MARC members includes lunch. EA non-MARC members $55. Membership is available on Nominate, new members need to join prior to attending their first training day, we no longer accept memberships on the day. Riders will be notified if help is required for setting up. Riders are expected to help packing up.
Float entry is off Murrumbateman Road, when parking please allow sufficient distance between floats so horses can be tied to the float at a safe distance from other horses and vehicles. Yards are available.
Current EA approved helmet and riding boots must be worn at all times when mounted, Back protectors are required for cross country.
