Please visit them Murrumbateman Rural Supplies Murrumbateman Butchery BSM Sport Equestrian Our training day on 16 Nov is a practice day for our January competition. We will have two dressage arenas with riders having the opportunity to ride a dressage test and then discuss it with the judge in the morning and then be able to ride the test again in the afternoon and try and improve their performance. We will also have a showjumping course beginning with baby cross rails and going up to whatever height riders wish to practice over. This is a club day and all riders will be expected to help with the setting up and packing up, and we will also need pencillers for the dressage judges.
Riders wanting to participate need to email me back by Wed 12 Nov. For the dressage you need to select a test from these:- Preparatory A Preparatory C Preliminary 1.1 Preliminary 1.3 Novice 2.1 Novice 2.3 I’ll do a draw and email it out. If you aren't going to ride and could pencil, we need a couple of volunteers. Usual TD fee of $35 with lunch and if you haven’t renewed your membership you’ll also need to do this to ride. Happy riding Sally Hi members Wayne and Debbie have offered to host our Xmas party this year, details are attached. All members and partners are welcome to attend. The club will supply red and white wine, BYO other drinks. If you have any special dietary requirements please let me know. I’ll email out directions before the day. We held our AGM earlier this month. Thank you to the committee members for your contribution last year and welcome to the committee this year. I’ve linked the president’s report for the year. Our next activity is a dressage and show jumping protocol day on 16 November, we will send out details in a couple of weeks. Wayne and Debbie have offered to host our Xmas party this year. It will be on Saturday 6 December. We will forward details closer to the date. A reminder that our AGM is on Wednesday, the agenda can be found here. All are welcome to attend and participate in the club. Also a reminder that memberships are now due. We don't have a ridden activity this month as the Field Days use the grounds, the next will be 16 Nov. All riders should be saddled and at the moonshed by 9.45am so we can organise the day and allocate groups.
The EA website is shutting down next week, we now have a new website of our own http://www.murrumbatemanarc.org.au/index.html Have a look and send me any feedback on what you think we should have on the site. The cross country day we had planned for September has been postponed due to the mess that has been made of the paddock by the wet weather and Hewatt’s auction. The September TD will be held. The October meeting will be our AGM. There is no ridden activity in October because of the Field Days using the grounds. The area behind the tennis courts has been tilled and had sand added and been reseeded. Hopefully this will improve the surface and make the area a lot more usable. We will be erecting a fence and gates to enclose the area and keep vehicles off it. Happy riding Sally |
